About the service

Gudrā pele is an online learning environment for children aged 4 to 11. It is available in Latvian and English. The service is bought, and the account created, by a parent or another legal representative of the child.

The service is provided by Linards Nikiforovs. To contact us, write to [email protected].

The parent's account

The account belongs to you, not to the child. You are responsible for the accuracy of the account information, for keeping the sign-in details safe and for how your child uses the account.

A child cannot buy a subscription and cannot start a purchase. Purchases, payments and the choice of subscription are made only by the parent.

The child's profile holds only a first name or nickname, an age and learning progress. You can read more about how data is processed in the privacy notice.

Subscription and purchase

The service can be bought as a monthly or yearly subscription. One subscription covers the whole family – up to four children in one account. Before you pay, we show you the chosen period, the price and how payment is taken.

A monthly subscription renews every month. A yearly subscription renews every year. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it before the next payment is taken.

Payment is accepted by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record. Paddle processes the payment under its own terms. Your access to the service begins once a successful payment has been received.

Permitted use

The service is intended for use by your family. You may use it in your account and for your child's learning.

All of the service's texts, tasks, pictures, sounds, design and software belong to us or to those who have licensed them to us. Without written permission they may not be copied, sold, distributed, published, altered or made available to others.

Please do not use the service in a way that disrupts how it works, harms other users or tries to reach parts you have not been given access to.

Availability and liability

The service works online. It needs an internet connection and a suitable device. We do our best to keep the service available and working well, but we cannot promise that it will run without interruptions or errors.

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as it is and as it is available. This does not limit your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Cancellation and contact

You can cancel the subscription before the next payment is taken. Cancelling stops the next payment. It does not by itself cancel a paid period already used, and it does not mean an automatic refund for it. You can read about the right of withdrawal and refunds on the right of withdrawal page.

If you have a question, need help or wish to make a complaint, write to [email protected]. We will reply clearly and as soon as we can.
